A Revamped LinkedIn Pulse

A few months back, I wrote a griping blog post about the 3 things that I really wished LinkedIn would improve.  I guess enough people shared the same sentiment, because LinkedIn has revamped its desktop publishing experience –LinkedIn Pulse.  With added features to the site, and a redone Pulse, LinkedIn is making some great improvements.

As much as LinkedIn truly is a great tool to use, there is not a one size fits all approach.  There are a few practices that you should stay away from on LinkedIn.  While your intentions may be good, your execution is going to drive connections far away.  There is some sort of etiquette that this professional social network demands.

As a social media marketer and content writer, I use LinkedIn daily.  While I’m thankful for it –there are a few features that could use some extra attention.  From a user experience standpoint, I’m not exactly thrilled.  There are some GREAT benefits to using LinkedIn.  This is why I use it in the first place and while I’ll continue to use it. Generating Leads with LinkedIn Groups

I'm curious to know who out there is currently using LinkedIn groups to generate leads?  I've been seeing a lot of buzz the past few months about this.  Everyone is talking about using personal connections on LinkedIn to drum up real leads.  Creating groups tailored to different individuals and their needs/interests and then catering to those individual groups seems to be going a long way to translating into dollars and cents.

Which Social Networks are Most Important?

Right now, J&S Tech Designs is active on four social networks: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and LinkedIn.  I'd like to get some feedback and see which networks other businesses are on and how they're utilizing those other networks for their company.  There is tons of information out there right now for marketing on these social networks.  There are so many new networks popping up all the time though -how does your business stay relevant?
