Elon Musk Built A Device To Execute The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge That Required A Tree, Ropes, And His Five Sons
Because we're always talking about Elon Musk and because the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is so huge right now, we've decided to bring you news from both. By now, most of us are aware of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Once you are challenged, you have to film yourself dumping a bucket of ice water on your head or donate to ALS (many people choose to do both). You then challenge three more individuals to go next.
This newest fundraising effort has now raised over $13 million for ALS research.
From Business Insider:
"Last week, Bill Gates challenged Tesla CEO Elon Musk to take the "Ice Bucket Challenge," the fundraising effort that has now raised more than $13 million for ALS research.
Predictably, Musk was not content to simply have someone dump a cooler over his head.
Instead, he suspended five buckets from a tree, then tied ropes to each to be pulled by his five sons."
