You find a product or service you really enjoy, you promote that product and give an honest review on your personal experience, and then you earn some sort of commission or payment for that promotion.  With social media marketing being the giant medium that it is, it only makes sense that the FTC has specific guidelines surrounding acceptable and unacceptable posting on social media and other platforms.

    For content marketers who are looking to earn money on their website, affiliate marketing is a great marketing option. The idea is that affiliate marketing is actually an arrangement between the writer of the post or promoter of the product and a retailer.  The retailer pays some sort of commission or offers some sort of compensation for the traffic or sales that are generated from the referral.
