Black Friday is right around the corner and we’ve decided to give you a little extra shopping money this holiday season! We want to hear about your User Experience while you’re out shopping. We talk a lot here about new technology, new apps, software, processes, etc. Now is your chance to show it off!
How it works: Send us a photo or screenshot while you’re out shopping using hashtag #JSTD. The photos/screenshots can be anything that has to do with technology and/or user experience. Some examples? Show off your point of sale experience with ApplePay or Google Wallet, show off a cart full of presents from Amazon or your favorite e-tailer or an awesome email from Brad’s deals connecting you with exceptional offers. Send us screenshots from the apps you’re using: shopping lists in Evernote, use RedLaser to get more information about a product UPC, or simply use OpenTable to reserve a place to eat lunch while out shopping. Be creative! Basically, we want you to share what made your shopping experience awesome. Whatever technology you’re using, we want to see it!
To Enter: Share your photos with us through social media or email (contest@jstd.com), use hashtag #JSTD when sharing your photos and give a quick caption of what the tech you’re using is. As many pictures as you can send –that’s how many entries you receive, so get snapping! We will be accepting entries from today through midnight #BlackFriday (Friday November 28th, 2014).
The Prizes: The more entries, the bigger the prizes:
< 100 entries we give away 1 x $50 gift card
100-500 entries we give away 1 x $100 gift card
501-1,000 entries we give away 2 x $100 gift cards
1001-5,000 2 x $100 & 2 x $50 gift cards
> 5,000 entries 3 x $100 & 4 x $50 gift cards
We are giving away up to $500, but it’s up to you to reach that number! Our biggest contest of the year!
Winners: Winners will be selected at random. Remember to share with your friends! The more people to enter, the bigger your prize will be. Be sure to like us, follow us, circle us, etc as we will be notifying winners via social media with 48 hours to claim your prize or it will be awarded to someone else. Winners will be announced on #SmallBusinessSaturday.
Entries will be featured across our social media outlets, so if you’re a business looking to promote yourself –entering is a perfect opportunity for a little free marketing! Also, because winners are selected by random draw, you have an opportunity to win more than once. The more entries you have, the higher your chance is to win!
Remember: The more entries we have, the bigger the prizes become and the bigger your chances are to win. So share on all social media outlets, tell your friends, and send as many pictures as you can. Also, be sure to follow/like us/etc because you’ll only have 48 hours to claim your prize and we’re announcing via social media.
